How To Sign In
This guide helps in understanding how to sign in as a new user to the app. The app provides security features such as biometric login and passcode, in addition to your username and password, for enhanced security. The page
Note: Some features shown in this guide may not appear exactly as shown - and in some cases may be deactivated - due to the features and settings for your particular account.
Signing In to the App
Tap the SafeHealth app on your mobile phone to open it.
Enter the username and password in the respective fields then tap the Sign In button. The Username and password can be stored in the iCloud keychain and can be used to auto-fill the credentials when signing in to the app.
If you enabled biometrics (Face ID, Touch ID or Fingerprint ID) during the sign-up process, you will be able to click the option below the password field and complete the sign-in. Sample screenshot for iPhone Touch ID shown below; you may see a different screen based on your mobile phone.
If you have set a passcode during the sign-up process, you will be asked to enter it after you tap the Sign In button.
Enabling and Disabling Touch ID / Face ID
If you haven’t enabled Face ID or Touch ID during the sign-up process, you can enable it by following the steps below:
Login to the mobile app using your username and password
On the app dashboard screen, tap on the Profile Icon on the top right and then tap Settings.
In the Security section, tap Touch ID / Face ID.
Tap the Touch/Face ID to turn it ON.
You will be asked to scan the biometrics, depending on the phone you have. Sample screenshot of the Touch ID confirmation pop-up shown below.
After successfully authenticating your biometrics, the option will be turned ON and you will be able to use this feature when you login to the app the next time.
If you want to disable the biometric login, tap the same toggle to turn it OFF. You will be asked to authenticate using your biometrics again and on successful validation, the option will be turned OFF.
Enabling and Disabling Passcode
If you haven’t created a passcode during the sign-up process and would like to use this option to sign-in to the app, you can enable it by following the steps below:
Login to the mobile app using your username and password
On the app dashboard screen, tap on the Profile Icon on the top right and then tap Settings.
In the Security section, tap Passcode.
Tap the Use Passcode toggle to turn it ON
You will be prompted to create a new passcode; enter the desired code and the system will ask you to re-enter the same code for confirmation.
After confirming the passcode, the toggle will be turned ON and you will be prompted to enter the passcode the next time you sign-in.
You can also change your passcode, if needed. To change, tap the Change Passcode option on the screen.
You will be prompted to enter the old passcode before you can set the new passcode, as shown below.
If you want to disable the passcode option, tap the Use Passcode option again. You will be prompted to enter the existing passcode and on successful validation, this option will be turned OFF.
Password Reset Criteria
As a User , you need to ensure that you create a secure password. You will be prompted to create a password that meets the following criteria:
12 characters long
Alphanumeric
Must include upper case, lower case, at least one number and special character
You will be notified if a password is rejected and why it is being rejected
That is a common password or one that is easy to guess
That does not follow the password criteria
You may not use a password that is similar to those you have used previously
If the conditions mentioned above are not met, system will notify you upon rejecting a password as to why it is being rejected

Users cannot reuse the same password from before of at least 6 passwords prior
Users must change more than 60% of the password to be different from any of the 6 prior passwords
System will check new passwords against list of known compromised passwords
e.g. abcd1234
e.g. Netscape2022!
Even if the password meets the complexity criteria, if it is on a list of compromised passwords, the system will reject the password
