Virtual Consult: Question Store

Note: Some features show in this guide may not appear exactly as shown - and in some cases may be deactivated - due to the features and settings for your particular account.

You can create and save all of your questions in the question store. You can also import a .JSON file having the questions.

Add a New Question

From the Question Store, click NEW QUESTION to add a new question. The Question Setup page is opened.

• When you select New Question, the question setup template is opened blank.

• Add the details in the question setup form. You can preview the question that you write in the setup form, on the right side of the screen.

• When you are setting up the question, a status can be set as either 'active' or 'disabled'. When a question is set to 'active' it can be put into a questionnaire, if not then it cannot be selected.

• When you input 'administrator notes' these are visible to you setting up the question only.

• When you complete the 'short name' field this will act as the shortened version of the name of the test.

• When you complete the 'question' field this will act as the full title of the question.

• When you upload an image or drag and drop a file then the image will be displayed to the member as part of the question.

• When you enter information into the 'description' field you are able to write in free text that can be visible to the member.

• When you enter the description you can set the style, font and size of the text.

• When you input text into the 'helper text' field then the text will be displayed to the member beneath the question.

• When you add a tag to a question then the question will be associated with the tag.

• When you set the toggle 'enable question comment' you are enabling the ability to comment on options.

• When you add data to the 'target' and 'format' this supports the reporting function.

• When you input a 'question medical code' you are able to select from a drop down of medical codes such as CPT, ICD, LOINC, Master specimen, modifiers, NDC for the 'system' field.

• When you input 'code' or 'code description' the code description must be selected from the drop down.

Click SUBMIT at the bottom of the screen to save the question.

Create Question - Question type ‘Multiple Choice’

• When you select the Question Type of 'multiple choice' you are able to offer multiple selections for the member to choose from.

• You are able to set QUESTION AUTO ANSWER from a drop down including COVID Test results, COVID test status, gender.

• Using ANSWER OPTIONS, you are able to configure whether the member can select multiple answers for the multiple choice question type.

• You are able to use a toggle to set whether the option of 'None' is included.

• You are able to use a toggle to set whether the option of 'contains all of the above is included.

• When setting up the multi-select answers you are able to add multiple ‘options’.

• The option can be added via free text box.

• When setting up the multi-select answers you are able to add multiple ‘options’.

• When adding an option a ‘system’ can also be added as part of the option: CPT, ICD, LOINC, Master specimen, Modifiers, NDC.

• A ‘score’ can be set when setting up the option.

• You are able to use a toggle to 'enable option comment'.

• You are able to setup 'optional instructions'.

• You are able to select an 'instruction type' from the drop down: Alert, Warning, instruction, other.

Create Question - Question type 'Slider'

• When you select a question type of ‘slider’ the member is able to select a value on a slide scale within the parameters you have set up.

• Set the Minimum and Maximum number along with Incremental Step value in NUMBER OPTIONS.

Create Question - Question type ‘Yes/No’

• When you select a question type of Yes/No you provide the member with a template in which they can answer Yes or No only by checking the corresponding checkbox.

Create Question - Question type ‘Long Text’

• When you select a question type “Long Text”, you provide the member with a template in which they can write the description answer in free text.

  

Create Question - Question type ‘Number’

• When you select a question type “Number”, you provide the member with a template in which they can write the description answer in free text.

  

Create Question - Question type ‘Short Text’

• When you select a question type “Short Text”, you provide the member with a template in which they can answer a question in free text.

  

Create Question - Question type ‘Date’

• When you select a question type “Date”, the template provided will be as a calendar picker.

  

Create Question - Question type ‘State’

• When you select a question type “State”, the member will be presented with a dropdown list where they can select the State.

  

Create Question - Question type ‘Height’

• When you select a question type “Height”, the member will be presented with two separate fields where they can enter the height (one field for feet and one for inches).

  

Import Questions

Click IMPORT to add an import file having questions.

Once you click Import, you will see an option to either Browse or Drag your files. Allowed file type is .JSON only. Click OK to upload the file.

View Questions

• When you scroll down you are able to see all existing questions in list view.

• When you scroll to a question in the list view you are able to see columns for Question ‘title’, ‘type’, ‘last updated’ (date, time) and ‘action.’

• When you click in the action column, you can enter the question setup by selecting 'edit'.

• When you click into the action column you are able to 'delete' the question. There is a pop up confirmation to ensure whether you want to delete or not.

Question is deleted successfully as the success message is shown in the screenshot below
