Importing Health Records from the Patient Portal
Please note: some features shown in this guide may not appear exactly as shown - and in some cases may be deactivated - due to the features and settings for your particular account.
This section allows you to Import your Health Records so that your health records are synced with our database.
In order to better serve you, we need to import the test results and have access to your patient portal and health records so that they are stored in one place which you can access at your convenience.
Your test results are secured and HIPAA Compliant.
Importing Health Records
Navigate to the Health Records screen by tapping the side menu bar and then taping My Health Records
On the Health Record screen, tap the option for which you want to enter the information.
Next, tap the Import Health Records button
You will be presented with two options to import your health record. You can select the appropriate option to proceed further.
Importing from Patient Portal
If you tap on Import from Patient Portal, you will be redirected to the screen shown below where you can search and select the portal from where you want to import the health records.
Tap on Connect right next to the portal names to connect with the patient portal.
Enter your patient portal credentials to give authorization to access the patient portal in order to gain access to your health related information.
Please read the list of information being shared and tap on “AUTHORIZE”.
Success message will be shown after authorizing SAFE Health to access your records from the patient portal.
Your provider from the portal has been linked. You can view the status in the app shortly.
Sync Patient Portal
Next, tap on “SYNC PATIENT PORTAL” to Sync patient portal
Search your provider from the list in order to import your health records from the provider.
If you cannot find your provider from the list then don’t worry, you can still add your provider by tapping on the “+“ button shown in the screenshot.
Fill in the required info of your provider.
Authorize SAFE Health to access your health records from your provider.
Confirm Record request by tapping on “IMPORT TEST RESULTS“ as shown in the screenshot.
You will be notified once the record request is completed which takes from a few minutes up-to 10 days
