Take a Test - Registering a Test Kit
Note: Some features shown in this guide may not appear exactly as shown - and in some cases may be deactivated - due to the features and settings for your particular account.
This guide details the process of registering a test kit that you may have purchased with Safe Health.
Registering a Test Kit
If you have already ordered and received a Test Kit, it can be registered by following any of the options listed below:
Option 1 - Using the “Take a Test” menu option
Tap the profile icon in the top right corner of the screen to access the navigation menu.
Tap Take a Test.
Tap Take a Test.
Option 2 - Using the Dashboard Card
If a dashboard card is configured for your company, you will see a “Take a Test” card on the dashboard screen, similar to what is shown below.
Tap Take a Test on the Home screen.
Tap Take a Test.
Scanning the QR Code
After tapping the Take a Test option, the next step is to scan the QR code on the box to begin the process of registering and taking the test. You will be shown a screen, similar to the screenshot shown below. Depending on the type of test kit that you have ordered, follow the instructions provided in the test kit to locate the QR to scan then tap the Scan Code button.
You will be taken to the Scan Code screen and the camera on your mobile phone will be activated. Register the test kit by pointing the camera at the QR code. If the code is valid and unused, you will be taken to the next step. If the is invalid or has been used, please refer to the section - Errors when Scanning a QR Code - for further steps.
Registration means the test is considered to be "used" from that point forward since the serial number has been detected.
If you do not complete the process to take the test after scanning the QR code and try to scan the same code in the future, the test will be invalidated and you will be unable to view the instructions for the test and report the results on the app.
Errors when Scanning QR Code
If the scan was unsuccessful, you will see one of the below error messages:
