Note: Some features shown in this guide may not appear exactly as shown - and in some cases may be deactivated - due to the features and settings for your particular account.
Screens have different screen messages which are displayed on the app after performing relevant options. You can edit this copy, or add additional messages from a list or preselected areas.
In the left navigation bar, click Settings and then click Verbiage.
You will be presented with a list of screen messages:
Edit a Screen
Click on the title of the message to expand it and then click EDIT.
Edit the message in the text box. There are various controls for formatting your text as needed. However, it is recommended to keep the messages short as these are displayed in a space on the app that allows limited characters.
Once you are done editing, you can preview how it will look by clicking on the magnifying glass. Select ADD SYSTEM MESSAGE VARIABLE.
Click on SAVE CHANGES to save, or CANCEL if you want to discard the changes.
Add a New Verbiage Definition
Click ADD NEW VERBIAGE DEFINITION.
Enter the required details in the fields:
Verbiage Key: This should be any text without any spaces and used by the app internally to identify this message.
Sub Type: This is a drop-down field with two options - Static and HomeScreenSnackBar.
"Static" messages are those that cannot be interacted with (i.e., clicking or tapping the message will not navigate to another screen).
“HomeScreen SnackBar” is a message that can have an interaction associated with it (e.g., clicking or tapping on the message can navigate to another screen).
Title: This is the “Title” of the message which will be used when creating a message.
Click CREATE.
The confirmation message will be displayed as Verbiage definition successfully created.
Add a New Screen
Click ADD NEW SCREEN to create a new screen message.
A new screen form will appear at the bottom of the existing screens. (Note: There are system message variables available at the bottom left of the form that allow you to add custom field values.)
In the Select Verbiage Definition dropdown, select the verbiage text that was added above in the Add New Verbiage Definition step.
Enter the screen message as needed.
Click on the magnifying glass to preview the changes.
Click SAVE CHANGES to save the message, or CANCEL to discard the changes.
Copy All Screens
Click COPY ALL SCREENS to copy all screens to your computer's clipboard for editing purposes.
Once you have made all your edits, you can then copy the screens back into the administrative system.
Import Screens
Click Import Screens. This allows you to import all screens you have copied to your computer back into the Administrative system.
