Checker Mode
This guide is an overview of Checker Mode, which is a specialized workflow in the HealthCheck app created for your organization’s Checker role. Here you will find out what the role of a Checker is and learn about how they perform their tasks and duties using Checker Mode via the HealthCheck app.
Note: Some features shown in this guide may not appear exactly as shown - and in some cases may be deactivated - due to the features and settings for your particular account.
What is a Checker and Checker Mode?
If you have been assigned to be a Checker at your institution, congratulations! The Checker is a very important role: you are one of the people who have the responsibility of “Checking in” members.
The first line of defense is the questions that everyone needs to answer about their health; the Virtual Consult Questionnaire.
The Checker is the second line of defense, confirming that everyone who comes to work/school has taken the Virtual Consult and is safe to be there. This includes people in the role of a Checker: you are still required to answer the Virtual Consult questions and confirm that you do not have symptoms, just like everyone else.
How to use Checker Mode:
Note: A Checker uses the same app as everyone else, however, there is an additional feature activated for you: Checker Mode.
-
You can get to Checker Mode either in the navigation on the upper left, or swipe right on the home screen of the app, once you are logged in. This will activate your camera, so you can scan other members' phones for access.
-
Make sure the person being “Checked” has the app open to the home screen, with the QR code visible. Use your camera to scan their QR code. Once scanned, your app will automatically advance to the next step.
-
Review the person’s details to confirm their identity and that they are cleared for work. If the member is cleared for work, you will select READY FOR WORK.
