Test Kit Return - Shipping Options
Note: Depending on the type of kit you are using, there may be a time limit for taking the test and returning it for proper testing. Be sure to work within those timeframes to ensure that your test is valid.
The specific timeframes for your test will be provided in the app and in the accompanying printed documentation. Depending on the test and your institution, you may have the ability to drop off the test for shipping service. The shipping options will vary based on the test and your institution.
If you are taking the test on the weekend, please note any times/days your shipping company may be closed to avoid any shipping delays.
Some at-home tests need to be sent to a lab for processing. For these tests the flow will instruct you on how to drop off your test for shipping.
This guide is an overview of how to return ship a Test Kit within your HealthCheck account. Step-by-step instructions can be found below.
Note: Some features shown in this guide may not appear exactly as shown - and in some cases may be deactivated - due to the features and settings for your particular account.
Step 1: Register a Test Kit
Follow the process shown in Test Kit Registration and Collection to register a test kit for returning it.
Scanned test kit will show up on the app as shown below.
Go through the collection instructions as shown in the screenshots below
Package your sample in the provided container and prepare for drop-off.
Tap CONTINUE to go to the next screen.
If you select SCHEDULE PICKUP, skip to Step 5. If you select FIND DROP OFF LOCATION, continue below.
Step 2: Select Drop Off Location for Shipping
a. Drop your sample off at a designated drop off site. Tap View Drop Off Locations to view the designated drop off sites.
If you tap View Drop Off Locations, you will be redirected to the following screen. You will be returned to the home screen if you tap Return Home.
b. Select Not Right Now to skip to the Select Drop Off Location screen as per your convenience.
c. Type location into the search bar and select your desired location.

d. Select Use My Location to find the most convenient locations for you.
e. If you allow access to your location, nearby locations will be shown to you.
You will be able to view locations for drop off.
Locations for drop off indicate a distance from your location.
Locations are presented with the nearest in distance first.
Locations are shown on the map view.
Location opening and closing times are shown.
The three closest locations are presented in the list view.
f. Expanded Location View
Location opening and closing times are shown.
When the location is selected, the expanded view should open automatically as below.
Please do not send any message to the courier.
Step 3: Select the Drop-off
a. Confirm the drop off details and tap Select Drop Off Location.
b. Drop off your test kit at your chosen location within 24 hours.
Step 4: View the Drop-off
a. You can view the drop-off schedule on your home screen. Tap the notice to see details.
b. Test Record including Drop off location and business hours are shown.
c. You will also receive an SMS Notification as a reminder that the lab is awaiting your test kit.
d. Return Test Kit details are sent on the email as well.
e. If push notifications are enabled, you will see it on your mobile.
